Below you will find a breakdown of our basic beliefs. These are our convictions built upon what we believe is clearly taught in the Bible, God's Word. You don't have to believe what we believe to attend and visit us. We welcome everyone and want to engage with you and your life. The Word of God, the Bible

We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are God’s written message to man. They are without error in the original writings, preserved through time, and trustworthy as the complete written revelation of God to man. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21; 1 Cor. 2:13; 1 Th. 2:13)

The Trinity

We believe in one God who is the creator and sustainer of all things. He eternally exists as three co-equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4-5; Isa. 48:16; Mt. 3:16-17; Mt. 28:19)

God the Father

We believe that God the Father is an infinite personal being. Everything He is and does is perfect. He is a God of holiness and love who cares for people and the world He created. He guides the course of human history. He hears and answers prayer. He saves from sin all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. (Ps. 139:7-10; Ps. 147:5; Isa. 40:28; Isa. 14:24, 26-27; Jn. 4:24; Mt. 5:48; 1 Pet. 1:15-16; Jn. 3:16)

JESUS CHRIST

We believe that Jesus Christ is not only true God, but true man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. We also believe in His sinless life, His death on the cross for our sin, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension, and His visible and personal return from heaven. (Jn. 1:1-3; Titus 2:13; Heb. 1:1-9; 1 Jn. 5:20; Lk. 1:26-35; 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Cor. 15:3-8; Acts 1:9-11; Rev. 19:11-16)

Holy Spirit

We believe in the personality of the Holy Spirit. His ministry is to bring conviction to the lost and the saved, to provide an understanding of God’s Word, and to empower the believer for godly living and service through His indwelling presence in the believer from the moment of salvation. (Acts 5:3-4; Jn. 16:7-11; 1 Cor. 2:12; Gal. 5:16-25; Eph. 5:17-21; Rom. 8:9; 1 Cor. 12:13)

Man

We believe that God created man, male and female, in the image of God. We further believe man is a sinner by nature and by choice, and is therefore spiritually dead. We also believe that those who repent of their sin and trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior are forgiven and brought into a never ending relationship with God. (Gen. 1:26-27; Gen. 2:7; Rom. 3:23; Eph. 2:1-3; Jn. 1:12; Jn. 3:16)

Salvation

We believe that God saves from sin and punishment those who receive His forgiveness in Jesus Christ. This salvation is a gift offered to us by God’s grace and received through faith, apart from any human goodness, works, or ritual. Our salvation was made possible by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ who took our punishment for sin on the cross. Once a person enters into a relationship with God through regeneration, they are forever a part of God’s family. This salvation results in righteous living and good works. (Jn. 3:16-18; Eph. 2:8-10; 1 Pet. 3:18; Eph. 2:1-7; Jn. 10:27-29; Phil. 1:6)

The Church

We believe that Jesus Christ builds and leads His church. This true church is composed of all people who through faith in Jesus Christ have been brought to spiritual life by the Holy Spirit. This body expresses itself in local assemblies whose members have come together for evangelism, edification, fellowship, and worship. We believe that the ordinances of the local church are believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper. (Mt. 16:18; Eph. 2:14-16; Eph. 1:22-23; 1 Cor. 12:12-15; Mt. 28:18-20; 1 Cor. 11:23-30)

Christian Living

We believe that the supreme task of every believer is to love and glorify God. Our conduct and lives should display the character of Jesus Christ in private and before the world. We are to be faithful and obedient servants who love God and His ways with all our heart. (Mt. 22:36-38; Mt. 5:13-16; Eph. 2:10)
